Uxtheme, Windows Vista and Custom Themes

Uxtheme, Windows Vista and Custom Themes
By definition, Windows Vista does not allows custom Themes to be installed. Therefore, some guys thought it should be changed and created a Uxtheme Patches. It allows You to change themes to whatever You want, whenever You want. It is pretty amazing, because with combination of Deviant Art themes for Windows You have almost unlimited possibilites.
I personnaly run on Windows Vista Home Premium, and I’ll give it a shot – always wanted to have a minimalistic desktop with “flash” features.

Cannot select multiple files

Vista Problem SolvingAfter installing a Service Pack 1.0 for my Windows Vista Home Premium edition I’ve noticed, that I cannot select more than one file at a time. Well, I was worried about it, so I searched i little and found an answer to this problem:

So, if You have problems with selecting multiples files, then try this:

  1. Open Regedit
  2. Find path: HKCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\
  3. Delete the Bags & BagMRU keys

After doing it restart Your Windows Vista and everything should be back to normal again :) .
