Everyone of us makes mistakes, even bloggers, who wants their blog to be the best. I have some tips to Everyone wanting to make their blogs better:

1. Links with “NO FOLLOW” attribute

If You have any advertises on Your blog, or simple did some paid reviews. Remember to link to Your affiliates with “no follow” attribute. Google is lowing your page rank if You do not do it. Also by adding “no follow” to most of Your links You won’t turn Your blog in links junk.

2. Not unique content

I know, the easies and the fastest way is to ctrl-c, ctrl-v some articles from Articles directories. But what for? You want to do a blog, which will have some meaning and maybe You’ll be proud of it if it gonna bring some revenue, or do You want to have another spam blog that quotes others words all the time? In my opinion writing about something in your own words, even if that subject has been talkeb 100 times over and over have more value than copied content.
Remember one rule - unique content brings more visits.

3. Posting Your links in wrong section of forums

If there’s a thread on forum about political issues - DO NOT post there with Your “how to boost adsense earnings” link. If You want to link to your blog on any forums do it with some sense. Don’t spam in every category. If You have something to say about Web hostign do it in web hosting section etc.

4. Page loading time

It is very important how long user need to wait to see Your blogs. That’s why the best thing to do is putting every scripts from other sites on the bottom of Your page. For example, You have a banner on start of You blog from the site, that temporarly is shutted down. The image cannot be found and the page isn’t loading for about 40 seconds, after that time in place of image there’s a text “NOT FOUND”. User had to wait 40 seconds - propably he resigned already. There’s a solution for that - download every banner from Your affiliate to Your server and then ut it on Your site.Faster loading time = happier user.

5. Too much contrast/distracting a user

First of all Your blog should be themed with steady, non contrasitng color, why? It’s easier to read and it is more comfortable for user. Secondly, if You want to put some banners on Your site make sure, that they are no “flashing types” banners. Best banners are static, nicely mixing in Your blog climate, then user thinks that this is a part of the site, no a advertise screaming “HEY! I”M HERE! CLICK ME!”

6. Too much Ads

Yes, I know, that every blogger wants to have some income from his blog. But, putting 3 Adsense text ads, 4 banners of affiliates and a popup window is a bad thing to do. User cannot just read Your content - he needs to find it first in this junk of ads. To let the user read what he wants and have some revenue from ads You need remove some, and rethink what should be removed. In my opinion 1-2 text ads and 2 banners are enough ( 1 at left/right side of Your blog and one at the bottom ).

7. More patience

Every good blog needs time to rise. Good income will not flow in matter of 2-4 days, or 1-2 week. No, You need to put some work to Your blog. Make it worth to stay and read what You write about. Read and always search knowledge letting Your blog to be a better than it is now.

Everyone has the same problem with blogs and other sites. How to direct more traffic to my website?

Well, that is the golden question and are many ways to do that, and many kinds of traffic. If you need low quality traffic (to just raise your statistics) You simply join some traffic exchange program and that’s it.

The problem begins when You want traffic that is interested in what You have on Your site and would like to come back time to time to see new, cool things. I know some tips, that I actually do to raise traffic for my site, and I’d like to share it with You.

1. Commenting on other Blogs
As it’s may sound, it is quite actually easy and can brings a lot of good traffic. When You’re writing a constructive comment (with link to Your blog) on blog, that has similar niche like Yours, showing that You know a little on a subject that You commented then it is most propably that users reading comments would like to check Your site, and even maybe discuss at your posts.In addition when You leave link to Your site you’re adding one more backlink to Your site.

2.Release free useful stuff
If You’re writing about Your hobby, that it is quite logical that You’re better in certain subjects that average user. That’s why users want to visit Your blog - to know more, or having hope that they can download things that they were searching for. For example, I know that most of people starting their first net bussiness mostly are choosing to create a proxy site. That’s why I release some free proxy templates from time to time ( of course with backlink to my site in template ). the users are happy, that they’ve given something useful for free and You’re happy that You have more traffic.

3.Write articles
Well, to do it You need to know what You want to write, and on which subject. But this is one of the best way to have a unique content on your site and attract more people to the site.Any subject is good, if You know some useful things and want to share them with an article. Also, when done writing and posting in to Your site You can add articles to free Artciles directories. In my opinion this isn’t the best thing to do. People will read the article not on Your site, but at the article directory site. No traffic profit for You ) altough You can leave a backling in the directory, but the easier way is to comment on peoples blogs).

4.Add a link to Your forum signature
Everyone visits forums and discuss groups. They are fundaments of the internet. Good choice will be adding a link to Your site in Your signature. Free backlink and maybe some traffic, if that what You post has good value and help the user.

5.Add a footer to Your e-mails
When You write a e-mai, be sure to put a link to Your sites in the footer of the mail. Every mail You send is a chance, that You’ll interest the user with Your links, if he decide to visit, and see good content he would surely be back once a day or so.

First thing – don’t expect to make 100$ in two days having no funds for advertising, hosting and domains. To earn something You have to work for it. Nothing comes free.

Anyway, let’s begin:

1. The Domain

There are 2 options, first option - easy way - If you have like 10$ to spend You can register a domain at Hostgator, or Namecheap, that’s it. Second option gives You a little less but hey, we’re building something from nothing. And to do this we will use some free domains like www.dot.tk or www.co.cc. You just simply register the name and link it to Your site. Hey, You’ve reached an end of a first step, congratulations!

2. Webhosting

Well, for the most, this is the hardest part. Most of free hosting sites don’t allow of proxy scripts. I got my first server for proxy from a member of Digital Point Forum. He offered it as a free to use, because he was building his populatiry. My advice - do the same. Visit some forums and find someone who will let You host Your proxy site at his hosting, in return do some advertising for him. The quickest way in my opinion.

3. Template

Ah yes, the template. Most of Proxy creators think, that template doesn’t matter and are downloading some free templates from google. Bad idea, If You want to have rising popularity and more traffic on Your site remember that look of Your proxy is very important. If someone visits Your proxy and see the design diffrent than the rest, he will remember it, and maybe he will tell about Your site to his friends. You see - unique style can make You bigger traffic, bigger traffic means higher revenue from the site. So think about it and try to create unique template.
But, if You’re lack of graphic talent or simply don’t want to do a unique template I advice You to see free templates, that I offer. You can see them here and choose one You like the most.

4. Advertising

After everything is done and placed, where it supposed to be we can advertise a little. We now have a fully developed proxy with unique design and a name. The easiest way to advertise is by Yahoo groups and visiting many forums( especially college/students forums). Take some effort in writing a short description of Your proxy and why do You think it is better than other proxies and post it on forums and good groups on Yahoo. Repeat it couple of times. If You do it properly You can be sure, that Your traffic will explode in less than a week.

5. Choosing a way to monetize Your taffic

Proxy sites haven’t got much of choice. The best choice is Google Adsense( PPC system) or affiliate, that is paying for displaying 1000 impressions of his banner on Your Site (called CPM). From my experience YesAdvertising.com is the best choice. They have a good CPM rates (as high as 1.80$ for 1000 impressions) and they are able to pay directly to Your Paypal account.

So, 5 simple steps to build Your first proxy. I earned in this way 56$ in first month. Not much, but I was able to buy my own hosting account, 3 domains and some advertising. In second month (after paying for hosting) I earned about 84$. That’s how I made my first money with using a proxies sites. Wish You all the same.

Ofcourse I can’t promise You thisearning, I can only tell You, that if You’ll be patient and put some effort in it, You can earn nice sum of money(when Your network will grow) or earn enough to move on with Your ideas.
